The liberal elites of Hollywood went into full meltdown mode once again after Vice President Mike Pence did not wear a face mask while visiting the Mayo Clinic on Tuesday to thank healthcare workers for all that they’re doing and to learn more about a new coronavirus testing initiative.

Pence toured the Mayo Clinic in an attempt to shine light on the new testing efforts of the famous hospital amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The facility has teamed up with the University of Minnesota and the state to increase Minnesota’s capacity to 20,000 tests a day, a truly amazing feat.

Hollywood stars, however, completely ignored all of these positives in favor of allowing them to be overshadowed by backlash over Pence not wearing a mask. While the clinic has a policy in place calling on visitors to wear masks, Pence explained to reporters that he is tested regularly and does not have the coronavirus, according to Breitbart News.

Of course, this did nothing to stop Hollywood stars from grabbing their pitchforks and attacking Pence with everything they have. “Pence was warned to wear a mask during a tour of the Mayo Clinic and refused,” actress and singer Barbra Streisand tweeted. “Do he and Trump think they’re invincible or is Pence afraid of Trump? What terrible role models for our nation.”

Hollywood filmmaker Judd Apatow was also enraged, questioning, “What person sees this and isn’t disgusted?”

“3rd Rock from the Sun” star Kristen Johnston took the opportunity to mock Pence for his Christian faith.

Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” went the racial route by launching a racist attack on Pence for his skin color.

Comedian Billy Eichner kept things simple by talking about the amount of “hate” he has for Pence, and seemingly for the rest of “these people” in Donald Trump’s administration.

“Star Trek” star George Takei took this opportunity to make what appears to be a bizarre sexual joke.

Finally, actress Mia Farrow tweeted (then deleted) the false claim that Pence had forced the Mayo Clinic to delete an earlier post about wearing masks.

“After all the outrage, I guess VP Pence made the Mayo delete their tweet saying that the ‘Mayo Clinic had informed @VP of their masking policy prior to his arrival,'” she wrote, pushing the unsubstantiated claim.

In throwing this tantrum, Hollywood leftists have made a mockery over all the positive things that are happening at the Mayo Clinic confronting this crisis. The wealthy liberals of the entertainment world are in virtually no danger of succumbing to coronavirus themselves as they isolate in their Malibu mansions, so they have no problem seeing the rest of the country go down to the pandemic if it means Trump has less of a chance of being reelected.

Never forget that Hollywood leftists would rather see America fail than see Trump succeed.
