Comedian Chelsea Handler, who is mostly known these days for her radically anti-Donald Trump views, just posted a truly bizarre video to social media in which the 45-year-old said she is “hot” for New York’s Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo, who she called her “boyfriend.” This came after Handler penned a love letter to Cuomo in Vogue Magazine, where she possibly facetiously said she hopes to become his First Lady.

“Getting ready for my boyfriend to come on TV,” Handler said in her video. “I’m pretty hot for Andrew Cuomo, not going to lie about that… I mean, could Andrew Cuomo be any hotter?”

Handler didn’t have only positives to say about Cuomo in her strange video, however, as she admitted she wasn’t a fan of the white polo shirt that he wore to a press event on the coronavirus. “I don’t like where his nipples were today at all. But I’m just going to pretend I didn’t see that,” Handler said. Well, okay then!

In her Vogue article entitled “Dear Andrew Cuomo, I Want To Be Your First Lady,” Handler returned to praising Cuomo, saying he is a leader “at a time when so many of us were desperately looking for one.”

“Thanks for reminding us, at a time when old white men are neither cool nor popular, that good men exist and that real politicians do their job by leading,” Handler wrote. “Thank you for talking about the unexpected benefit of spending time with your daughters and for using words like compassion and courage. Thank you for reminding us that the best politicians are, in their hearts, civil servants.”

Of course, Handler also made time to fuel her own Trump Derangement Syndrome by bashing President Trump in her article. “We are living at the absolute worst time to have a president as dangerously incompetent as Donald Trump,” she wrote.

Shifting back to Cuomo, she then indicated that she would like him to steal the Democratic presidential nomination from Joe Biden, who is the current front-runner. “I’ll happily vote for Joe Biden, but I would much more happily vote for Governor Cuomo,” she wrote.

It should be noted that Handler rose to fame as a comedian who was known for her heavy drinking and her affinity for gossiping about celebrities before she decided to foray into commenting on politics when Trump was elected. Handler has no college education and no political background whatsoever, yet she seems to think her status as a member of the Hollywood elite qualifies her as some kind of political expert.

In reality, Handler is just another narcissistic Hollywood attention-seeker who thinks she has the right to tell the rest of us how to live our lives simply because she is famous. Let’s all show Handler what little political sway she actually has by reelecting Trump in November!
