Actress turned radical #MeToo activist Alyssa Milano, who once claimed that we should “believe all women” who are accused of sexual assault, is changing her tune now that current Democratic presidential frontrunner Joe Biden has been accused of sexual misconduct.

Biden has been accused of sexual assault by Tara Reade, a former staffer of his who said she was attacked by him back in 1993, according to The Blaze. Despite the fact that Reade’s allegation seems to be credible, the mainstream media has effectively refused to give her claims any coverage whatsoever.

Back in 2018, Milano attended the confirmation hearings of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and claimed that his sexual assault accuser Christine Blasey Ford should be believed despite not having any corroborating evidence to support her claim. Now that Biden —Milano’s candidate of choice— is being accused, she is singing a very different tune.

When asked about the allegations against Biden by interviewer Andy Cohen on Monday, Milano said, “I’m still trying desperately to stand back and be sort of objective about this, because I sent the #MeToo tweet out over two years ago, [and] I never thought that it would be something that was going to destroy innocent men.”

“So, we have to find this balance in the ‘Believe Women’ movement, and also giving men their due process,” she added.

She later doubled down on this on Twitter, writing, “#BelieveWomen does not mean everyone gets to accuse anyone of anything and that’s that. It means that our societal mindset and default reaction shouldn’t be that women are lying.”

“I believe, along with many others in this space, that accusations need to be investigated with due process for the accused,” she added. “This is the only way for the movement to work & create the change we are fighting for. Anything less puts the entire movement and women’s equality at risk.”

The hypocrisy of Milano is mind-blowing on the one hand, but not surprising at all on the other. It just goes to show that the behavior of Milano and her fellow liberals during the Kavanaugh hearings was never about getting justice for sexual assault victims. Instead, it was about using unfounded allegations as a weapon to take down a prominent conservative voice. When the shoe is on the other foot, and a Democrat is being accused, Milano and other leftists will do anything they can to protect their man from going down in flames. “Believe all women” my foot. The hypocrisy of liberals never ceases to amaze.
