In these dark times of liberal hate mobs, the actors in Hollywood who stand up and support Trump are truly unsung heroes.

In these dark times of liberal hate mobs, the actors in Hollywood who stand up and support Trump are truly unsung heroes.

They’re brave to speak out in support of Trump because doing so is an automatic “career killer.”

Look at people like James Woods – he is online every single day fighting for President Trump and America First.  He doesn’t care what his peers in Hollywood say. Same with Kirstie Alley, Chuck Woolery, John Voight, and Randy Quaid, among others.

And speaking of Randy Quaid, we can now add his famous brother to that list of brave souls who throw caution and career to the wind in order to support President Trump.

The Trump-hating entertainment editor over at Daily Beast conducted a phone interview with Quaid to discuss his upcoming podcast and his thoughts on the Coronavirus pandemic and much to his chagrin, Dennis Quaid is skeptical of the media and praised President Trump for doing a “good job.

Is it as dire as we see on television?” asks Dennis Quaid.

The veteran all-American actor, who’s starred in everything from The Right Stuff and The Parent Trap to Any Given Sunday, is phoning me from the Hollywood Hills, where he’s holed up with his fiancée Laura Savoie. He’s curious about the situation in New York City, where I am, which has become the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, with at least 74,601 cases and 3,544 deaths as of Tuesday morning.

Well, to tell you the truth, I think the president is handling it in a good way. We see him on television every day, he’s involved, and the travel ban early on was a great idea—which he did in spite of protest about that. But I don’t want to get into the protest. I’m an independent—I’ve voted both ways throughout my life, swinging like a pendulum toward what the country needed at the time—and I think this might be an opportunity for the country to come together again. World War II did that for that generation, and this might be our defining moment of a generation. It’s going to be a different world, for sure, when all this is over, and hopefully we can all be a bit more unified. [Daily Beast]

When do you think the country should re-open and get back to work?

This is how sane, well-adjusted people think and react to situations. Very clear-headed, looking at facts, assessing the situation based on the needs of the country and Americans, not some wild-eyed TDS-infected, over-emotional reaction.

Thank you, Dennis, for those rational and unifying words.

Too bad more people in Hollywood can’t do the same – especially at a time when the country needs it most.

I want to encourage everyone reading this to support Mr. Quaid and his new podcast as well.

The podcast is called “The Dennissance” and it actually premiered today on all podcast platforms. Please, check it out and let’s show Mr. Quaid how much we appreciate his common sense attitude!
