In the unlikely event President Trump loses re-election, the nation could deliver a Democrat Senate and retain the Democrat majority in the House. The consequence to the country would be catastrophic.
If you want a preview of it, look at the state of Virginia right now. Since last year the Democrats control the governor’s mansion and completely control the legislature. Things are changing in Democrat-laden Virginia, and not for the better.
Virginia now sports the South’s most restrictive gun laws, its most liberal abortion laws, and the state government has repealed voter ID requirements.

“In November, voters called for swift, impactful action to make their communities safer and more prosperous. We have delivered,” House Speaker Eileen Filler-Corn said to the Associated Press.
She is gloating. But her gloating is based in the power of the Democrats in Virginia. It is close to total at the state level.
“I think it’s been a fairly devastating year for people that are in rural Virginia,” said Sen. Steve Newman, a Republican. “It’s not just the high-profile items, but it’s just how deep the far left has reached into the code of Virginia.”
Even the 40-year-old Democratic effort to pass the feminist-sponsored Equal Rights Amendment was successful in January, making the Virginia the 38th state to pass the measure. The gas tax has been increased and power prices are going up to pay homage to the climate change lobby.

“We’ve never had this kind of success,” said Del. Lamont Bagby, chairman of the liberal Virginia Legislative Black Caucus. “We haven’t had as many bills. And we haven’t had this many significantly important bills.”
If this were to happen on the national stage, many areas of daily-affecting social and economic policy would be run by the far-left. The GOP, and America, would just have to sit back and take it.
If they didn’t, then a far more serious scenario could be in store for the national stage.
