The United Nations has been a useless organization for decades. At least since it successfully intervened in the Korean War.

It has embraced terrorists, dictators, and various left wing despots in its never-ending campaign to be woker than woke.

Now its leader, Secretary General Antonio Guterres, who calls himself “a proud feminist,” has decided to embarrass himself and his organization by kowtowing to the ridiculous spectacle of Sunday’s International Women’s Day.

He opines, “Deep-rooted patriarchy and misogyny have created a yawning gender power gap in our economies, our political systems, our corporations, our societies and our culture. Women are still very frequently denied a voice; their opinions are ignored and their experience discounted.”

Bloody hell mate. Do you live under a rock? You can’t swing a dead cat without hitting some harridan caterwauling about this or that.

Deciding his own willful ignorance of reality and the adolescent silliness of PC culture wasn’t enough, a recent UN report spells out the tripe in even more detail, “Controlling your body — sexual and reproduction and free of violence — is critical to everything else. It’s critical to education, to employment, to political participation, to sitting on boards of companies. All these things won’t happen unless you control your body.”

Apparently controlling not only your body, but also the body of an unborn child, makes you quite au courant at the UN.

Annnd, Guterres again, “Twenty-five years after the Beijing conference, progress on women’s rights has stalled and even reversed. We must push back against the push back. … It is more important than ever for men to stand up for women’s rights and gender equality.”

Dear lord, that last part was just gibberish.

Who do you think would win the Presidency?

He also called promoting radical feminism, “the biggest human rights challenge we face.”

So with war, disease, poverty, falling educational standards (especially at the UN), and a host of other issues plaguing the planet, this nitwit thinks enabling annoying Bolshevik females to carp at the rest of the world ad nauseam is of primary importance?

And with his decision that it is, you see in totality the consistently dismal intellectual capabilities of the UN and its leader.
