Companies across the U.S. are pulling up their bootstraps and getting to work to help our country get through coronavirus.

Two big companies, IBM and Honeywell, both announced they’ll be stepping up and helping with COVID-19:

IBM and Honeywell both made announcements saying they are investing in plans to help mitigate the crisis, and in Honeywell’s case, the company will produce extra surgical masks.

“We are honored to support the U.S. government’s efforts to protect Americans with personal protective equipment made right here in the United States,” Honeywell’s CEO said in a statement. “Our Rhode Island facility already produces industry-leading safety gear and soon will play a critical role in supplying the Strategic National Stockpile with N95 masks.” [Washington Examiner]

Now MyPillow, like Honeywell, is helping in the efforts by manufacturing masks for hospitals across the country.

Minnesota pillow manufacturer MyPillow announced Tuesday it would make face masks to help hospitals combat the growing coronavirus pandemic.

“MyPillow is excited to announce that we are now manufacturing face masks for hospitals across the country!” the company posted on Twitter to its almost 20,000 followers.

Healthcare professionals have requested help in supplying N95 respirator masks, which provide a more snug fit and better protection than typical surgical masks. It’s unclear which masks specifically will be produced by MyPillow.

This great to see a company with a CEO who is a huge Trump supporter, really step up to the plate and help America get back on its feet.

It’s also a brilliant move by Trump to give these companies incentive to not only provide necessary products for our country, but also put more Americans back to work.
