Mark Cuban eviscerates Chuck Schumer and John Cornyn for failed coronavirus stimulus talks: ‘Do your f***ing job’

The stimulus package was finally agreed upon in the senate.

Billionaire and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban took to Twitter on Tuesday to blast lawmakers for their inability to come together and pass a coronavirus stimulus bill that would help people and businesses that have been affected by the lockdowns.

Cuban fired back at a fiery exchange between GOP Sen. John Cornyn of Texas and Democratic Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.), who tweeted his reasons for voting against the Senate GOP stimulus proposal on Sunday. Cornyn responded on social media by mocking Schumer, writing “blah blah blah” alongside the Democrat’s tweet.

Cuban was appalled by this exchange, which he found to be unproductive.

“BOTH OF YOU NEED TO DO YOUR F***ING JOB!” Cuban tweeted yesterday morning. “@SenSchumer, stop kissing progressive a**. We can’t solve every problem in this deal. @JohnCornyn , stop kissing big corporate a**. They don’t need buybacks or exec bonuses. They have no choice but to take any deal they can get.”

“The economy is crashing and people are getting sick and dying because you 2 hard d**ks think your agendas are bigger than the health and future of the American people,” the billionaire added. “They are not. There is no perfect deal. TIME IS OUR ENEMY. Get this done today!”

After much back and forth, Democrats and Republicans did finally reach a coronavirus stimulus deal on Tuesday evening.

“The revamped Senate proposal will inject approximately $2 trillion into the economy, providing tax rebates, four months expanded unemployment benefits and a slew of business tax-relief provisions aimed at shoring up individual, family and business finances,” The Hill reported.

Millions of Americans would agree with the frustrations Cuban vented on Twitter yesterday.

Over the past week, Republican and Democrat lawmakers have shown that they are more interested in playing political games than they are in actually helping the American people get through this crisis.

We hope that in the future, they can put their political differences aside quicker to make helping Americans their top priority.
