It was just announced that 24 conservative students at the University of Central Florida attended CPAC, where another attendee tested positive for coronavirus. Afterwards, liberals hit a new low by celebrating the news and suggesting that the students deserved to be exposed to coronavirus because they are Republicans.

CPAC is described as the “largest and most influential gathering of conservatives in the world,” and speakers at the event included President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and United States Secretary of Education Betsy Devos.

“The American Conservative Union has learned that one of our CPAC attendees has unfortunately tested positive today for coronavirus,” the ACU announced last weekend.

Luke Strominger, the chairman of the College Republicans at UCF, revealed that the 24 students who attended CPAC were members of the College Republicans.

“No members have exhibited any symptoms and the incubation period of 5-12 days has almost passed,” Strominger said. “We are remaining vigilant and will continue to monitor the situation.”

Instead of sending thoughts and prayers to the students that they do not come down with the sometimes-deadly coronavirus, liberals took to social media to gleefully joke that they deserved to be exposed to the illness just because they are Republicans:

Unfortunately, when it comes to Republicans, this lack of civility from the Left is nothing new. Democrats claim to be all about “peace, love, and acceptance” but they only apply these virtues to leftists who think exactly like they do. All of that goes out the window when Democrats are confronted with Republicans, who they feel should be made to suffer as much as possible simply because they have different political opinions.

The fact that Democrats have not only politicized coronavirus but are actively hoping that conservatives get it shows just how far their party has fallen. They can no longer call themselves the party that is “against hate” when they are wishing suffering upon those who are different than they are.
