Kirstie Alley of “Cheers” triggered liberals everywhere on Monday night when she took to Twitter to praise President Donald Trump for his response to the coronavirus pandemic. Liberals were quick to slam the Hollywood actress for her praise for Trump, but she refused to back down to them.

“Dear Mr. President, @realDonaldTrump,” Alley began. “I wanted to thank you for ur recent decorum, sincerity, & care towards us. You’re taking charge & leading in a manner needed & wanted for this country. I highly commend you for ur boundless energy & willingness to solve problems. Thank you.”

It didn’t take long for liberals to pounce on Alley, as they can’t stand to see anyone praising Trump in even the slightest of ways.

“Are you serious????? What President are you watching?” one social media user commented, with another adding, “For crying out loud Kirstie, how many cults are you in?”

A third user suggested that Alley was on drugs, writing, “Do another line or two, Kirstie. It will help you see clearly how crazy your thinking is.”

Comedian John Melendez also got in on the action, writing, “Are you out of your mind? What press conferences are you watching? I watch the ones with lies, misinformation, & jabs at Mitt Romney, & others,”

Alley, however, refused to back down. She clapped back at Melendez by writing, “BlAh blAh blAh.”

After hours of attacks from leftists, Alley returned to Twitter to let the world know why she ignores her haters.

“You can tell a lot about people who belittle you for your views and beliefs, when u aren’t even TALKING TO THEM! My bestie and I call these people CHIMERS ..they ALWAYS chime in when u are speaking to someone else,” she tweeted.

It’s rare that anyone in Hollywood has anything nice to say about Trump, so it’s refreshing to see that Alley realizes all the good the president has done for our country. We applaud her for being brave enough to express her pro-Trump views even though she works in an industry that is run by radical liberals, and we hope more celebrities will have the courage to come forward with their conservative views just as she did.
