Comedian Kathy Griffin, who once posed with the fake severed head of Donald Trump for a photoshoot, took to Twitter on Wednesday to accuse the president of “lying” about the availability of coronavirus testing.

Griffin, 59, posted two photos that she claimed served as proof that she had been sent “to the #COVID19 isolation ward room in a major hospital ER.”

“He’s lying,” Griffin wrote, referring to Trump. I was sent to the #COVID19 isolation ward room in a major hospital ER from a separate urgent care facility after showing UNBEARABLY PAINFUL symptoms. The hospital couldn’t test me for #coronavirus because of CDC (Pence task force) restrictions. #TESTTESTTEST.”

She posted this alongside a tweet from Trump in which he said the U.S. had done “far more ‘testing’ than any other nation, by far!”

“In fact,” he added, “over an eight day span, the United States now does more testing than what South Korea (which has been a very successful tester) does over an eight week span. Great job!”

Unfortunately for Griffin, her latest attempt to smear Trump backfired when social media users accused her of either overdramatizing her situation, or of outright lying.

Griffin has been battling a serious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome for years now, so it unfortunately comes as no surprise that she is trying to spin the coronavirus pandemic in a way that would make the president look bad. Given the fact that her career is fledgling, it also comes as no surprise that she is trying to use coronavirus to make herself relevant again.

What would be surprising, however, would be if anyone takes anything this crazed leftwing comic says seriously. If you really are sick, Kathy, perhaps you should focus a little more on getting better, and a little less on your disturbingly deranged Twitter rants.
