During Thursday’s episode of the ABC talk show “The View,” co-host Joy Behar blasted President Donald Trump for his address about the coronavirus on Wednesday night, going so far as to call for him to resign.

Fox News reported that Behar even said that she is confident in Vice President Mike Pence as a replacement for him, which comes as a shock from a liberal like her, given the fact that Pence is much more a member of the GOP establishment than Trump is.

“Don’t you think that this is a good time for him to resign?” Behar asked. “I mean, Pence has been shown to be rather capable, I believe… I feel a little more confident with Pence and Fauci at the helm.”

Behar was referring to Dr. Anthony Fauci who is the head of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases.

“I do not feel any confidence with this guy,” she added of Trump. “He has been incompetent from the giddy-up.”

Behar made these comments while the panel was discussing Trump’s coronavirus address the night before. Conservative co-host Meghan McCain chimed in to say that coronavirus could be the “silver bullet that takes out this administration” before adding that she didn’t mean it literally, “so everybody calm down.”

Behar also claimed that “a lot of people are saying this is his Katrina,” referring to the criticism former President George W. Bush was hit with for his questionable response to Hurricane Katrina back in 2005.

“The View” hosts went on to discuss the fact that Hollywood star Tom Hanks had announced that he had been diagnosed with coronavirus, and Behar took this opportunity to make a joke that seemed to be in poor taste.

“You know what it is, Tom Hanks has the virus and we have Forrest Gump in the White House,” she said, referring to the titular role Hanks played in the 1994 movie “Forrest Gump.”

Way to keep it classy, Joy.

Despite the fact that there’s nothing Trump could have done to stop a disease like coronavirus, liberals like Behar are gleefully blaming it on him. They are doing this because they like to blame everything bad in the world on Trump, so why should coronavirus be any different?

Unfortunately for Behar, she’s blown all her credibility with years of Trump-bashing, making it impossible for anyone but her devoted radically liberal fans to take her seriously. Nice try, Joy, but we’d say that this was another fail for you!
