Failed 2016 president candidate Hillary Clinton has been gleefully using the coronavirus to bash President Donald Trump ever since it began. Today, Clinton tried to undermine the president once again by urging the American people not to listen to Trump about coronavirus.

“Please do not take medical advice from a man who looked directly at a solar eclipse,” Clinton tweeted on Tuesday afternoon.

Clinton was referring to an incident back in August 2017, when Trump briefly took off his protective glasses during an eclipse and looked up at the sky, according to The Hill.

Clinton used this moment to inject a bit of humor into a tweet that had the clear message that the American people should not listen to the president right now even though we are in the midst of a massive crisis.

Unfortunately, this has come as no surprise from Clinton given how outspoken she has been in criticizing Trump’s response to the coronavirus. Just last week, she was praised by a Chinese ambassador for claiming that Trump is racist for calling the coronavirus the “Chinese virus.”

“The president is turning to racist rhetoric to distract from his failures to take the coronavirus seriously early on, make tests widely available, and adequately prepare the country for a period of crisis,” Clinton tweeted on Wednesday. “Don’t fall for it. Don’t let your friends and family fall for it.”

“It is true. Justice always speak loudly,” the Chinese ambassador to South Africa wrote in response to the tweet.

Calling Trump racist is one thing, but encouraging Americans not to listen to him about the worst crisis our nation has faced in years crosses the line. In undermining the president during this difficult time, Clinton is causing more chaos and putting more American lives at risk.

Once again, Clinton is showing that she would rather see our country fail than see Trump succeed.
