Actor George Takei of Star Trek fame just became the latest Hollywood star to have a full meltdown over President Donald Trump correctly referring to coronavirus as a disease that originated in China, claiming that doing this is “racist.”
Takei urged his 2.9 million followers to report Trump to Twitter for violating the social media’s guidelines by “stroking racism” with a tweet the president posted yesterday.
“The United States will be powerfully supporting those industries, like Airlines and others, that are particularly affected by the Chinese Virus,” Trump had written. “We will be stronger than ever before!”

Takei fired back hours later with a call to action to his followers.
“Do me a favor and report this tweet. Trump is stoking racism,” Takei wrote. “[Jack Dorsey] may not do anything, but people should let Twitter know it’s not acceptable.”

Liberals have just decided that the terms “Chinese virus” or “Wuhan virus” are racist despite the fact that leftwing media outlets like CNN had been using them for weeks, according to Breitbart News. Even the media in Asia had been using those terms to describe the virus up until very recently, when they were dubbed “offensive” by progressives.
It should be noted that many viruses have been named after where they originated over the years. Examples of this include the Ebola virus being named after a river in the Congo close to where the outbreak originated, and Lyme disease taking the name of a Connecticut town where an outbreak occurred in 1975.
Once again, Takei and his fellow liberals are grasping at straws and trying to make absolutely everything about race in order to make Trump look bad. Most Americans see right through what they are doing, and the left is only making themselves look ridiculous with their latest attempt at shameless race-baiting.
