But shouldn't everyone, including "white males" like Jonah, have opportunities in Hollywood?

The two time Academy Award nominated actor Jonah Hill, who gained fame starring in the 2007 movie Superbad,  just spoke out to say that real change will only happen in Hollywood when white men surrender their power.

Hill made these comments to the shoe brand Adidas, which describes the actor and director as a “game-changer” in the movie world on their website. Hill explained that he feels Hollywood is changing because “people who weren’t empowered to tell stories are getting the opportunity to tell a story.”

However, he went on to say that this change is not happening fast enough, and that it will only really get going when “white men” lose the power they currently have.

“Real change is going to happen when everyone running the studios and running all these streaming companies are women, and people who haven’t had the voice that white men have gotten throughout that time,” Hill said.

This comes after Hill directed an Adidas commercial that states “Superstar stands for all who aren’t afraid to stand up for something.”

“For those who know change can’t happen alone and believe it takes a team to make a difference in the world,” the ad continued.

Bashing “white men” has become common and even cool in liberal circles in recent years, which is ironic given the fact that modern leftists claim to be warriors against racism and sexism. Every time liberals like Hill insult a “white man,” they show that they are the ones who are the real racists, not the conservatives that they claim are the root of all evil.

Everyone should have opportunities in Hollywood, regardless of their skin color and gender. Just because “white men” may have had more opportunities in the past, according to Hill, it does not mean that they should be penalized for what they look like now.
