Hours before he suffered yet another crushing defeat in the Nevada caucus, former Vice President Joe Biden was photographed with singer and avid Donald Trump-hater Cher. Biden then used the photo to take a cheap dig at President Trump.

“Do you believe in life after Trump?” stated the caption, a reference to Cher’s 1998 hit song “Believe,” which features the line “do you believe in life after love?”

The photo did nothing to help Biden in the caucus, in which he won just 19 percent and an estimated two delegates compared to winner Bernie Sanders’ 40 percent, according to Breitbart News.

Biden may not have realized that just days before, Cher had expressed her doubts that he would be able to win against Trump in the election.

“Trust & Love In Candidate Is Heaven..BUT WE LIVE HERE [on earth] FOR ME ITS LESSER OF TWO EVILS. I LOVED JOE, BUT JOE HAD MANY STRIKES AGAINST HIM,” Cher said. “MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE..HES A GOOD, HONEST MAN WHO COULD BE PRES, BUT NOT RUN 4 PRES. He Doesn’t Do Social Media, & He’s Joe Warts & All.”

However, Cher then changed her mind, wishing Biden luck against Sanders in the caucus.

As you can tell by the spelling and grammar errors in her tweets, Cher is not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. Biden may think he accomplished something by getting Cher’s endorsement, but even her support could not save his campaign right now. He should drop out of the race while he still has some dignity, and save himself any further embarrassment.
