We saw how a man innocent of the charge of quid pro quo, President Donald Trump, was dragged through the mud by Democrats, to no avail. Now the man who actually got an unethical deal from the Ukrainians is coming under probe. Just in time for his presidential campaign.

Joe Biden is under a microscope by investigators in Ukraine for using U.S. pressure to force out a prosecutor who was looking into Burisma, a firm where his son Hunter sat on the board.

The prosecutor who was ousted, Viktor Shokin, now wants his day in court. Looks like he’s going to get it. He got a court order to launch it.

His lawyer said this: “They need to investigate this. They have no other alternative,” Oleksandr Teleshetsky told The Washington Post. “They are required to do this by the decision of the court. If they don’t, then they violate a whole string of procedural norms.”

If you forgot the blatant conflict of interest and glaring quid pro quo involved in this case, let this arrogant Biden brag recall it for you.

“I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion.’ I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’” Biden said, talking to then-Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko.

“Well, son of a b—-, he got fired,” Biden added. “And they put in place someone who was solid at the time.”

And by “solid” Biden meant a weak legal bureaucrat who would let Hunter Biden continue to make a fortune trading on the name of his father and the office his father held at the time.
