Somehow, the Deep State Anti-Trump Lunatics always seem to think that if they gather enough of their crazy friends to write a letter to disparage Trump or the Republicans, people will pay attention.

The only people who pay attention are their nutty supporters and their sycophant media co-conspirators.

The strategy never really works but they keep trying. You sort of have to admire their persistence. But then again, what other hobby do they have going on besides trying to get rid of Trump and destroy the country as founded?

Their latest bullying tactic is a letter that was sent to Attorney General William Barr asking him to resign. They pretend to be upset over his handling of the Roger Stone case in which he overruled prosecutors who came out with a different recommendation than they had told him previously.

More than 1,000 former U.S. Justice Dept. officials (including eight legal analysts who work for CNN and MSNBC or appear often on the network) signed the letter. And these wonderful, pro-Constitution, patriotic signatories served under both Republican and Democrat administrations. Wow. That sounds serious.

The letter humorously says (I laughed. You probably will too), “It is unheard of for the Department’s top leaders to overrule line prosecutors, who are following established policies, in order to give preferential treatment to a close associate of the President.”

Yes, apparently, the Attorney General isn’t actually the Attorney General. He must not be the boss. Apparently, he has to do what the Deep State Anti-Trump wing nut underlings tell him to do.

What the Deep State Anti-Trump Lunatics are REALLY upset about is the possibility of their criminality being investigated and exposed by Barr. Ukraine, FISA abuses, Obama’s spying and the framing of Trump, the Mueller Investigation, the fake pee dossier, unethical contacts with Democrats during the impeachment trial… They certainly have a lot to be worried about when you consider the amount of bad conduct they’ve participated in and the crimes they’ve committed in their attempted coup against Trump.

Bullying by letter is not a new tactic of the Deep State Anti-Trump Lunatics.

Who do you think would win the Presidency?

Before Trump was even elected, 50 Never-Trumpers who were also former policy and national security officials penned a letter in August of 2016 saying that if Trump was elected, he would be “the most reckless President in American history.”

In Feburary of 2017, Facebook, Google and Apple penned a letter opposing Trump’s travel ban (they obviously don’t want to lose their cheap labor from immigration policies).

In May of 2019, hundreds of ex-federal prosecutors signed a letter after reading the Muller Report, saying that Trump would have been indicted for obstruction of justice if he were not President.

Again in May of 2019, more than 70 retired military leaders signed a letter urging Trump against a war with Iran urging diplomacy (yeah, that always works. Iran loves talking and agreeing to stuff.)

In December of 2019, 700 historians publish a letter urging the House to impeach Trump.

Also in December of 2019 (busy month!), 350 health professionals signed a letter to Congress claiming Trump’s mental health is deteriorating dangerously.

In their letter they said, “We are convinced that, as the time of possible impeachment approaches, Donald Trump has the real potential to become even more dangerous, a threat to the safety of our nation,” said Drs. Bandy Lee, a Yale psychiatrist; Jerrold Post, a former CIA profiler; and John Zinner, a psychiatrist at George Washington University.

The Deep State Anti-Trump Lunatics will continue to write their ineffective letters so they can try to control the narrative for the day. Meanwhile, MAGA continues.

As Yogi Berra says, “it’s like Déjà Vu all over again.”
