Last weekend, comedian Ricky Gervais sent shockwaves through Hollywood when he exposed the liberal hypocrisy of the entertainment world while hosting the Golden Globes.

Since then, Gervais has been hit with backlash from liberals who are livid that he would dare to challenge left-wing celebrities.

Now, Gervais is firing back at his haters in a big way, and he’s not backing down to them.

Gervais took to Twitter on Friday to make it clear that he has no regrets about giving a performance at the awards show that conservatives could enjoy.

“I’ve noticed a couple of tweets criticising me for ‘accepting’ new followers who are the ‘opposite’ of me,” wrote Gervais, 58.

“Christian, conservative, pro life, pro gun, reactionaries. Of course I accept them. To err is human, to forgive divine. It’s what Jesus would do. Dog Bless all my followers.”

Not stopping there, Gervais added, “If you don’t believe in free speech for people who you disagree with, and even hate for what they stand for, then you don’t believe in free speech.”

This came days after Gervais held nothing back during his opening monologue at the Golden Globes, telling the celebrities to refrain from talking about politics when accepting their awards.

“So if you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech,” Gervais said.

“You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg.”

The liberals of Hollywood have done everything they can to both vilify and erase conservatives, so it came as a huge shock to them when Gervais gave a performance that those on the right could enjoy.

Hopefully, more celebrities will follow Gervais’ lead and start “accepting” conservatives as well. If they are able to do that, they might learn a thing or two in the process.
