Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) couldn’t handle hearing the profane impeachment comments of her fellow “squad” member Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.).

When they were read on the House floor during statements prior to Wednesday’s vote on President Donald Trump’s impeachment, she repeatedly screamed, “Stop it!”

Video shows House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) recalling how Tlaib, on day one in Congress and in front of her son, told a group of supporters, “We’re going to impeach the motherf*****.”

Fox News reported that several journalists were able to identify Omar as the one heard repeatedly in the background shouting to McCarthy to “stop it.”

“Those are not my words,” McCarthy responded to the outburst.

Check this out:

Multiple sources claim Omar shouted for McCarthy to stop using Tlaib’s own words on the House floor three separate times.

What exactly was Omar trying to hide?

That Tlaib and the Democrats have been plotting Trump’s impeachment for well over two years — or the simple fact that Tlaib is a vile embarrassment to Congress, in our view?

“What’s the problem?” Daily Caller reporter Scott Morefield asked Omar on social media. “Truth hurt?”

“[Omar] is a disgrace,” one critic responded bluntly. “She cannot stand to listen to the truth. She is one and done. The good people of [Minnesota] deserve far [better] than this derelict.”

Rather than hide from it, Omar should sing it loud and proud.

After all, Tlaib certainly does — having led crowds in similar chants and selling “impeach the MFer” T-shirts on her campaign site.

Don’t stop it, Ilhan. Own it.

One thing is certain: No matter how poorly one of their members will act, demeaning the very office they hold, the squad will always have each other’s back.

In an interview several months ago, Reps. Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) defended Tlaib’s comment as nothing more than a “boo-boo word.”

“Rashida got into a little bit of trouble for saying a boo-boo word,” AOC explained.

“I hit up Rashida, I sent her a text, and I was like, ‘Don’t worry about it, I mean, who cares,’” the socialist said in her best high school, valley-girl voice. “And she was like, ‘Yeah, I’m from Detroit, back there that’s just what we call ‘that guy.’”

The squad repeatedly shows a willingness to back up each other’s comments, no matter how vile or bigoted.

This past May, outrageously suggested in an interview that she gets a “calming feeling” when she thinks about the Holocaust because Palestinians created a “safe haven” for some Jewish people.

Aside from being thoroughly insensitive, the comments were historically and categorically false.

Yet Omar leaped to her defense, saying critics were simply taking her remarks out of context as a means to “eliminate” Muslim voices.

Likewise, when Omar got heat for dismissing the 9/11 terror attacks on our country as an event in which “some people did something,” Tlaib jumped up and called her critics “racist.”
