Have you ever considered the invaluable gift of friendship with God — the One who is in every way greater than the greatest person we could ever know?

No president, no tycoon, no CEO, no Hollywood icon, and no country music star could be a more powerful and wise friend than God.

The Bible says: “Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! ‘For who has known the mind of the LORD? Or who has become His counselor? Or who has first given to Him And it shall be repaid to him?’ For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen” (‭‭Romans‬ ‭11:33-36‬).

Through Jesus, we are offered friendship with God and access to His supreme wisdom and power.

How?

Because Jesus “made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men….being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross” (Philippians‬ ‭2:7-8‬).

Jesus humbled Himself “to the point of death” so that we could know the rich depths of God’s friendship, absorb His wisdom, revel in His power and be satisfied by His love.

What will we do with such a magnificent gift?

Will we delve into this richness by loving God with all of heart, soul and mind so that He reveals His mind, heart, and unsearchable truths to us?
