Sen. Lindsey Graham Vows Investigation into Democrat Joe Biden and Ukraine

Republicans can't overlook highly questionable actions

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Sunday morning vowed to begin an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden over the Ukraine situation.

And all I know is if the Senate Republicans punt on this, then they deserve to have their votes boycotted, in my view.

The country has seen President Donald Trump investigated for his entire term of office.

He’s been undermined and the American public have been gaslighted the entire time — and when we finally get to a point where we can have this exposed, have our side of the issue — they want to shut it down?

That will just encourage the Democrats to do it again because it worked.

Is this impeachment push against Trump a sham?

At the minimum, Republican senators need to get Hunter Biden and Joe Biden in front of the Senate to answer questions, which would, one hopes, lead to charges against Biden as well as former President Barack Obama.

Here’s how The Daily Caller explained it:

Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham promised again Sunday to begin an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden because “none of us are above scrutiny.”

The chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee has previously said he wants to assess any misconduct by Joe Biden in Ukraine.

Graham repeated that pledge on CBS News’ “Face the Nation,” even though he called the frontrunner in the Democratic presidential race “one of the most decent people I have ever met in my life.”

“Here’s the deal: this whole process around Ukraine wreaks with politics. They have done everything but take a wrecking ball to Donald Trump and his family. We’re not going to live in a world where only Republicans get looked at,” Graham said. (source: The Daily Caller)

The Dems will declare victory no matter what happens — and none of that matters.

The only thing that matters is the vote come November 2020.

The reason the Dems are losing ground right now is that the electorate sees what they are doing as irrelevant and distracting from their own priorities.

If the GOP were to drag out proceedings, the voters similarly would blame them for wasting their time.

No. The president will be impeached.

The Senate should give a reasonable amount of time to establishing the facts, and, in the process, that would make the House look foolish.

Then wrap it up and move on before your audience tunes out.

Republicans need to address the accusations at the very least.

It’s Debate 101: If you don’t address a false accusation, no matter how bad it is — if you just pass over it and pretend it was never said — others will think you’re admitting to something that’s clearly false.

If Republicans want to bury their golden opportunity, they don’t deserve to win back Congress come 2020, as I see it.

They don’t know how to defend their reputation as good people if they won’t address false accusations of bad behavior.
