If, as reported by many outlets, CIA analyst Eric Ciaramella is indeed the so-called whistleblower against President Donald Trump — or CIA informer, or any other moniker you’d like to ascribe to the man — then the leftist and Democrat warning that merely uttering his name in public would lead to a medieval curse being laid upon everyone is not credible.

It remains possible that this individual could take the witness stand in the now virtually sure-to-happen GOP-run Senate trial of Trump based on the House’s advancement of the articles of impeachment and the vote set to happen perhaps this evening.

That is — if he is indeed the man who may have started all of this.

He couldn’t have done it alone, though.

If he were the whistleblower, this analyst is guessing he acted with a little help from his friends.

But without a bevy of friendly reporters, coddling Dem staffers, and fawning leftists to cower behind, Ciaramella would be left to the tender mercies of the president’s lawyers, GOP senators, and the hard truth that he has coordinated this entire operation with Capitol Hill Democrats.

To be specific, this whole effort was perhaps cooked up in the Hill office of a prominent Dem.

Maybe.

We don’t really know; this is speculation.

Then a proven loyalist was recruited who could be relied upon to toe the line for serious consideration at a later date.

Should President Donald Trump be impeached?

Thus, enter, probably, Ciaramella.

If he is the lad of note, it is not surprising he is from the halls of the CIA.

Those of us who have served in intelligence long have had reservations about the quality of work and personnel coming from the highly political people-pleasing analytical side of the CIA.

And this is not a new development.

The CIA specializes in happy-face analysis. It does this because it knows that those who hold the keys to funding do not like bad news, especially if they are in charge at the time such news comes down the pike.

Other intel agencies, such as those from the military community, tend to give a much more realistic view of the world at large and do not get involved in partisan politics.

They also generally do not truck with treason, sedition, or attempts to reverse the will of the U.S. electorate by trying to overthrow a legitimately elected president.

However, such qualms seem to be absent in Ciaramella.

He seems to believe, if he is the informer, that he is on a holy jihad for the Left. Which is strange, since many leftists reject the notion of faith of any sort.

But Ciaramella may want to call on the Supreme Being for support if and when the president’s attorneys get to question him free of the rigged game of the Dem-led House committees.

Then, and only then, could the truth come out.

Until then, we wait with anticipation. Ciaramella, if this analyst is right, most likely waits with dread.
