Speaking to Chris Matthews of MSNBC on the day before Christmas, liberal filmmaker and outspoken anti-Trumper Michael Moore made his feelings known about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) — who at this moment continues to hold onto the articles of impeachment filed against President Donald Trump and refuses to send them to the Senate, as the Constitution requires.

“There should be a statue already made to her because regardless [of] what my political differences might be with her, she has played this masterfully,” said Moore.

“And even her opponents have to admit that,” added Moore inexplicably.

Just before he made those remarks, newsman Matthews himself said that she’s his new hero as well.

(So much for a non-biased media.)

As pointed out in LifeZette and in many other publications, Pelosi as of right now is withholding the impeachment articles from the Senate.

As analyst and Fox News contributor Liz Peek noted in an opinion piece the other day in Fox News, “Queen Pelosi” even “grew testy” when reporters asked her about it.

“Pelosi scolded the pesky press for wanting to know why, for the first time in the nation’s history, she did not follow the accustomed path of handing the articles of impeachment over to the Senate for an expected trial. Having to explain her bizarre decision was apparently beneath her; she cut off inquiries abruptly saying, ‘Any other questions because I’m not going to answer any more questions on this … I’m not going to go there anymore.'”

That’s right.

Pelosi has not yet sent the two articles of impeachment against Trump to the Senate — leading outraged Republicans to accuse her of weakness, partisan politics — and far worse.

The House a week ago voted to impeach Trump on two counts — for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress — related to the president’s dealings with Ukraine.

But the House did so without any Republican support for that whatsoever.

Neither was there any criminal conduct alleged against the president nor any violation of law alleged.
