President Donald Trump heads to Lexington, Kentucky, on Monday night for a major 2020 re-election campaign rally.

Trump is scheduled to begin speaking at Rupp Arena at 7 p.m. Eastern/6 p.m. Central.

As usual with rallies the president holds, the lines to get into the venue started many, many hours ahead of the event.

Approximately 25,000 people are said to be inside the venue for the rally.

The event also comes after strong jobs numbers were released this past Friday — including the lowest ever black unemployment numbers ever recorded — something Trump almost certainly will reference on Monday night, as he did this past Friday night at his rally in Mississippi.

“Although it is not technically listed as a campaign event for [Kentucky] Gov. Matt Bevin, the political implications on the Commonwealth’s gubernatorial election could be big,” Lex18.com noted about tonight’s rally.

“As he has in the past, Trump is expected to talk up the governor at the rally.”

“Throughout his entire campaign, Bevin has brought up his relationship with the White House, and some think this is a strategic move as Trump’s polling numbers are coming back strong in Kentucky.”
