The president of the United States — whose remarkable physical energy is rarely, if ever, discussed by most of the media — is holding a 2020 campaign rally on Wednesday evening in Monroe, Louisiana.

The chief executive is set to begin speaking at 8 p.m. Eastern.

“More than 1,000 people were waiting outside the Monroe Civic Center to welcome President Donald Trump to a rally supporting Republican gubernatorial nominee Eddie Rispone,” noted The News Star.

“Around 4 p.m., the audience was being admitted in batches ahead of the 7 p.m. rally.”

“More than 40,000 people requested tickets for the event, and the Monroe Civic Center can hold between 7,500 and 10,000 people.”

“A large screen will broadcast the rally to the crowd outside that can’t fit in the venue.”

The state election cycle for this year will close out on November 16, when Louisiana conservative Democrat incumbent John Bel Edwards faces a gubernatorial runoff against GOP businessman Rispone.
