A contestant caught “Jeopardy” host Alex Trebek off guard during Monday night’s show.

Dhruv Gauron used his “final answer” of the show to send a message to the host — who’s been battling cancer.

It made for a viral video when the host choked up with emotion.

Trebek has been open about his battle against stage-four pancreatic cancer, which has only a 9-percent survival rate for five years.

Viewers have offered their support for his battle — but what this contestant did really took Trebek by surprise.

“Dhruv, you’re smiling, I like that!” said Trebek as he went to announce the solutions to a game answer.

“Let’s take a look at your response. Did you come up with the right one?”

“No?” Trebek continued.

“What is, ‘We love you, Alex,'” read the response.

Trebek was visibly moved — and did all he could not to break down and cry on the air.
