President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump came to her father’s defense just after the House passed its partisan sham impeachment inquiry vote on Thursday.
The House voted along party lines, with zero Republicans supporting the impeachment inquiry.
Two Democrats voted against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) — they voted against moving forward on the rules for the impeachment process.
This was a major failure for Pelosi.
Back in March of this year, the speaker said that in order for an impeachment move against President Donald Trump to be successful, she would need “bipartisan” support.
See this tweet:
In March, Nancy Pelosi said that she wouldn't move forward on impeachment without bipartisan support.
Today, ZERO Republicans voted for the impeachment process.

Pelosi did not get her “bipartisan support” for this impeachment circus, in my view.
As a matter of fact, she lost two of her own lawmakers along the way.
Plus, a new USA Today poll shows that only 36 percent of Americans support this silly process.
The speaker has landed herself in a mess, it seems clear — and I’m sure if she could go back in time she’d never have stumbled down this road.
But she can’t.
Pelosi is now stuck with this impeachment-sham monkey on her back.
It’s the last chance the Dems have to beat Trump in 2020. They don’t have a candidate who can win against him because Democrats have left the American working class behind — in favor of illegal immigrants, refugees, and elitist, out-of-touch liberals.
After the vote, Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, took to Twitter and shared part of a moving quote from Thomas Jefferson that reads, “Surrounded by enemies and spies catching and perverting every word that falls from my lips or flows from my pen, and inventing where facts fail them.”
It’s from a letter that Jefferson wrote to his daughter.
Ivanka Trump went on to write to her father, “Some things never change, Dad!”
