When we allow God to be the center of our life, He constantly amazes us by the way He handles all the stress and pressure life throws at us.
God allows us to experience the wonder of His power as He works miracles in any hopeless situation.
It makes me think of the way He delivered Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego from the fiery furnace.
King Nebuchadnezzar threw them into a furnace that was so hot that it burned the soldiers who threw them in. The king was astonished that “the fire had not had any power over the bodies of [the] men. The hair of their heads was not singed, their cloaks were not harmed, and no smell of fire had come upon them” (Daniel 3: 24-27).
Can you imagine the wonder of their experience as they watched God’s protective hand?
How is it they were afforded the opportunity to experience His power?
The king said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel and delivered his servants, who trusted in him, and set aside the king’s command, and yielded up their bodies rather than serve and worship any god except their own God” (vs. 28).
Their greatest object of worship was God — and thus they knew He could be trusted in any situation.

They had absolute confidence in Him to handle even the most radical threats to their well-being.
How do we learn to trust God to handle that kind of pressure?
We must make God the most important focus of our worship.
He must be our center.
He must be what motivates and drives our daily decisions.
Then there is never a question that He can handle whatever life throws our way.

We automatically trust.
What a way to live!
We don’t just barely make it in life, but we excel in the magnificence of the strength of our Creator.
God shines and excels in everything we do.
Knowing His love makes it easy to turn every pain, problem, and project over to Him.
When God is the center of our life, He astonishes with His magnificence.
