Will Hillary Clinton try to jump into the 2020 presidential race?

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson believes it’s more a matter of fact than a question.

On “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Tuesday, Carlson wondered if any more candidates would jump into the Democratic primaries, as he knows Democrat insiders are hoping so.

But he also believes Clinton’s moves as of late indicate she’s definitely getting into the race.

“Why are we ignoring the obvious?” Carlson said.

“Of course she’s getting in.”

Carlson made his comments while interviewing Democrat strategist Robert Patillo, who thought the party probably wants someone who’s not yet in the race.

Should President Donald Trump be impeached?

“What we have seen is the Democratic Party has been looking for that standard bearer,” Patillo said.

“You have 70 percent of the party that is looking for something different,” Patillo continued.

“They are hoping it will be Biden, but as his campaign continues to get hit over Hunter Biden, continues to get hit over Ukraine, all these other scandals — that opens the door for somebody like Hillary Clinton who has 100 percent name recognition.”

But would this be a good move for Clinton and the Democrats?

After all, Hillary Clinton has already run for president twice and lost both times. Her team even had a hand, reportedly, in helping rig the 2016 primaries against Bernie Sanders.

Yet, as Carlson pointed out, one can’t deny Clinton is behaving more and more like someone who is running for high office.

“Hillary Clinton weighs in out of nowhere the other day and attacks Tulsi Gabbard, calls her a Russian spy,” Carlson said. “My theory, and I think it’s true — and someone who worked for the Clintons for years confirmed it for me today — the Clintons don’t do anything haphazardly, accidentally. Everything is strategy.”

“I’m starting to think that Hillary Clinton wants to get in the race,” he added.

Patillo agreed.

“I think she’s absolutely going to get in the race,” he said.

Even President Donald Trump called out Clinton’s attacks on Gabbard.

“So now Crooked Hillary is at it again!” Trump tweeted. “She is calling Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard ‘a Russian favorite,’ and Jill Stein ‘a Russian asset.’ As you may have heard, I was called a big Russia lover also (actually, I do like Russian people. I like all people!). Hillary’s gone crazy!”

A recent Rasmussen poll showed Clinton might have a lot to overcome.

“The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that Clinton and Trump earn 45 percent support each among likely U.S. voters. The deciding 11 percent remains undecided,” Rasmussen reported.

“But just 18 percent think Clinton should enter the race for next year’s Democratic presidential nomination. Seventy-one percent (71 percent) don’t think she should run. Twelve percent (12 percent) are not sure.”

Only 18 percent? Yikes.

Yet, if she wants to get in — don’t think for a second that these poll numbers or anything else would stop her, in our opinion.
