The differences between former President Barack Obama and current successful President Donald J. Trump just became clearer, in my mind.
As so many know by now, the leader of ISIS is dead.

He was killed during a U.S.-led raid, as President Trump announced on Sunday in a live address from the White House.
Trump said al-Baghdadi killed himself and three of his children in the raid.
The man detonated a suicide vest as U.S. forces closed in on him after a “dangerous and daring” raid, as NBC News and many other outlets reported.
“Last night, the United States brought the world’s number one terrorist leader to justice,” Trump said on Sunday.
“Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead.”
“Capturing or killing him has been the top national security priority of my administration,” said the commander-in-chief.
Trump said the man died “whimpering and crying and screaming all the way” into a dead-end tunnel.
“He reached the end of the tunnel as our dogs chased them down” — and then he detonated the suicide vest, Trump said.
“He was a sick and depraved man,” the president added, “and now he’s gone.”

When Obama was in office, U.S. special forces found and killed Osama bin Laden — the mastermind behind the 911 attacks.
Obama had to take a Cabinet vote first, though.
“One by one, the principals around the room were asked to choose among three options — a raid, a missile strike, or doing nothing — and then to defend their choice,” as Vanity Fair reported in 2012.
“The president [Obama] said that he probably would not make a decision until the next morning, but he wanted to hear everyone’s view. It was widely reported in the weeks and months after the raid that most, or at least many, of the president’s top advisers opposed the raid, but this is not true. Nearly everyone present favored it,” the same publication noted.
As former top Trump aide Sebastian Gorka pointed out on Sunday, Obama had to take a “vote” — while President Trump “just did it.”
That’s called true and confident leadership, in my view.
Trump leads from a place of strength and confidence.
Obama took votes, called ISIS the “JV team” — and traded terrorist masterminds for U.S. traitors.
Obama took a vote of his cabinet on killing Osama bin Laden. @realDonaldTrump just did it.
