President Donald Trump called out House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) on Twitter on Monday night.

He even accused the Democrat of committing crimes in the quest to impeach him.

“The only crimes in the Impeachment Hoax were committed by Shifty Adam Schiff, when he totally made up my phone conversation with the Ukrainian president and read it to Congress, together with numerous others on Shifty’s side,” Trump wrote, as The Hill pointed out.

“Schiff should be impeached, and worse!” the present also wrote.

That wasn’t the first time Trump attacked Schiff on Monday.

Earlier in the evening, he went off on the Democrat in another rant.

“Can you believe that Shifty Adam Schiff, the biggest leaker in D.C., and a corrupt politician, is upset that we didn’t inform him before we raided and killed the #1 terrorist in the WORLD!”

“Wouldn’t be surprised if the Do Nothing Democrats Impeach me over that! DRAIN THE SWAMP!!” Trump also tweeted.

Trump has had frequent back-and-forth exchanges with both Schiff and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who are leading the impeachment charge against him.

The impeachment inquiry is based on claims that Trump — during a July 25 phone call from the White House — pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to look into 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden’s business dealings in the nation.

Zelensky himself has said he felt no pressure — and that there was no pressure.

Schiff came under fire for paraphrasing parts of the transcript of the Trump-Zelensky call, falsely saying that Trump told the foreign leader to “make up dirt on my political opponent.”

Schiff has since defended his comments, claiming they were meant to be a “parody” version of what happened.

“My summary of the president’s call was meant to be, at least part, in parody. The fact that that’s not clear is a separate problem in and of itself,” Schiff said last month.

“Of course, the president never said, ‘If you don’t understand me, I’m going to say it seven more times.’ My point is, that’s the message that the Ukraine president was receiving in not so many words.”
