On MSNBC’s “Hardball” on Tuesday, liberal documentary filmmaker Michael Moore said that white working-class voters are afraid of losing power because their numbers are dwindling demographically in America.

And this, he claims, causes them to support President Donald Trump.

Host Chris Matthews asked Moore why he thought working-class white people “stick with Trump.”

Moore replied, “Sadly, I think it is a racial thing on some level with a lot of people.”

“I think that white guys … They can see the writing on the wall,” Moore said.

“The women are coming. They arrived last November. We are now — this is the eighth September in a row where the majority of first graders in this country last month were not white.”

Matthews interjected, “Meaning Hispanic, African-American or Asian.”

“Correct,” Moore continued. “We now see the demographic shift that by the 2040s, white people will be the minority, and I think there’s some level of fear about that.”

“And those of us who are white, especially white guys — still having that door opened just a little bit easier for us. And we know it,” Moore continued. “We know we’re not followed around when we go to the department store.”

Matthews queried, “So that spreads fear into the white voter and he votes white.”

“Yes, because some white voters are afraid,” Moore replied. “When you’re in power, you don’t want to lose what you have, let’s face it.”

Moore would even compare white Trump voters to apartheid in South Africa.

No, we’re not kidding.

Liberals like Michael Moore see everything through racially tinged glasses.

He and his far-Left friends can’t fathom the fact that maybe Trump voters support him because they believe in his policies and what he stands for. Does the Left always have to be so patronizing?

Yes, they do. It’s what they always do, in our view.

They insult millions of Americans — the white ones, at least in this example — who cast their vote for Trump by portraying them as racists.

Perhaps Democrats should stop obsessing over race so much and maybe concentrate more on improving our country.
