Knowing God’s love is so critical in order to love anyone else.

He set the standard for sacrificial love — by dying for all of us.

The Bible describes the cost of Christ’s love in Romans: “For one will scarcely die for a righteous person — though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die — but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life” (Romans‬ ‭5:7-10‬).

God’s love for us was insanely painful.

It’s impossible for us to comprehend it because we’ve never loved anyone who wronged us to the magnitude that the human race violated His love.

His love is steadfast.

It never wavered — and never wavers.

He didn’t do what He did because of His sins — He did it for ours.

Do you know anyone who thinks of your life as pricelessly as He regards it? ‬‬
