Adam Schiff Must Resign, Say Many, After Outrageous ‘Impeachment Stunt’

House Democrat engaged, on live TV, in a 'parody' of a presidential phone call — and did not admit until later he was making up what he imagined Trump might have said

What Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) did yesterday on live television during a Capitol Hill hearing connected to a Trump impeachment investigation was — and still is — inexcusable.

There are no words to properly convey how unprofessional and out-of-line Schiff was.

He made up an entirely fake conversation between President Donald Trump and the president of Ukraine — and presented it as if it were “real.”

Millions of people watched Schiff as he spun a fan-fiction tale that made it appear as if Trump is a traitor who should be impeached.

It was all a lie — but Schiff didn’t admit to that until much, much later.

Watch the video below of Schiff’s fairy tale story:

People’s jaws were open as watched this spectacle.

Many Americans were shocked at the lies that were spewed on the House floor and across the TV airwaves.

“Adam Schiff is making things up as he goes,” noted House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.).

“This is the same chairman who lied to the American public for the last two years when he said he had evidence — beyond circumstantial — of collusion. He has put America through a nightmare,” added McCarthy, referring to the Mueller investigation, which ultimately found no collusion on the part of the president.

“Adam Schiff continually pushed that he had evidence on Russian collusion that no one else saw,” wrote Ryan Fournier (as shown below in a tweet).

“Now he is fabricating the contents of President Trump’s call with Ukraine.”

“Nothing he has said is true.”

“This man is charge or the House Intelligence Committee … He needs to be fired.”

Finally, after so much backlash, Schiff was forced to admit that his opening statement was a just a “joke” or a “parody,” as he called it.

Are you kidding me?

Watch the video below.

It’s here that Schiff admits it was all a joke.

Again, what Adam Schiff did — that stunt he pulled — was so wildly out-of-line that he must be fired for it.

There must be ramifications for this lawless, shameless propaganda that unhinged Democrats participate in, in my view.

The calls for Schiff’s resignation have reached a fever pitch.

“Calls for Adam Schiff to resign after he read a grossly exaggerated, distorted, ridiculously embellished version of the transcript into the record. He argued it was just ‘parody,'” noted one person on Twitter.

“But, it’s his admission that reading the transcript verbatim wouldn’t have sounded bad.”

“Adam Schiff said his summary of Trump’s phone call was meant to be ‘part parody,'” noted another individual on Twitter.

“An impeachment inquiry isn’t the time for jokes coming from the House Intel Committee Chair who LIED about evidence for years about Russian collusion!”

“RT [retweet] if you agree Adam Schiff should resign.”

And here’s yet another tweet on the matter — about Schiff’s lies to Congress.

“When is he going to resign???”

Here are others as well.

The president himself called out Schiff’s antics.

“Rep. Adam Schiff fraudulently read to Congress, with millions of people watching, a version of my conversation with the president of Ukraine that doesn’t exist,” noted President Trump.

“He was supposedly reading the exact transcribed version of the call, but he completely changed the words to make it sound horrible,” Trump added in part.

“Adam Schiff therefore lied to Congress and attempted to defraud the American public.”

“He has been doing this for two years.”

“I am calling for him to immediately resign from Congress based on this fraud!”

As The New York Post and other outlets noted, Trump on Friday accused the Democratic chairman of the House Intelligence Committee of “fraudulently” reading to Congress a nonexistent version of his call with the Ukrainian president.

Trump added there was nothing wrong with his phone call with the Ukraine president.

Schiff must step down, or be booted from Congress, in my view. He is no longer fit to be a member of Congress.
