Squad Member Rashida Tlaib Sells Profanity-Laced Anti-Trump T-Shirts

This Michigan Democrat apparently sees nothing wrong with using this type of language and behavior to go after the sitting president of the United States

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) led a crowd of angry protesters on the East Lawn of the Capitol on Thursday  in a chant of “impeach the mother******.”

Yes, they actually said that.

Not that Congress has the most stellar reputation to begin with, in our view — but any Democrat colleague with an ounce of integrity had to have been mortified at this disgraceful display.

Tlaib, flanked by fellow squad members Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.), joined demonstrators calling for President Donald Trump’s impeachment.

Footage shared by Roll Call shows Tlaib inciting the crowd by beginning the phrase with, “Impeach the …” — while like-minded people in the crowd then shouted back, “Mother******!”

Should President Donald Trump be impeached?

Notice she’s actually taking a video of herself starting the chant, clearly prepared to share it for a future campaign clip.

The chant harkened back to January when, hours after she was sworn in as a freshman lawmaker, Tlaib riled up supporters by shrieking the same phrase.

“When your son looks at you and says: ‘Mama, look, you won. Bullies don’t win.’ And I said, ‘Baby, they don’t,’” Tlaib told a crowd of adoring fans at the time. “Because we’re going to go in there, and we’re going to impeach the mother*****.”

Tlaib, following the lead of presidential candidate and former Texas lawmaker Beto O’Rourke, has now tried to capitalize on the vulgarity, selling T-shirts with the phrase emblazoned on the front.

“Lean in with me to hold this lawless president accountable,” Tlaib tweeted. “Together, we will fight back and protect our democracy. Our country depends on it!”

She added, “And yes, you can even wear what you feel.”

Sure, for those who have no shame and are unable to control their emotions — and whose vocabulary limits them to words and phrases that belong at a truck stop — then yes, we guess that’s true.

Tlaib is successfully dwelling in a gutter, in our view, and bringing her fellow Democrat lawmakers in Congress down with her.

Where are the calls from level-headed members of the party to denounce this kind of childish behavior?

Where is House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to get control of these radical extremists in the “squad’?

Video surfaced in July of Tlaib’s being forcibly dragged out of a Trump campaign event in 2016 by Secret Service agents.

Trump, upon seeing the video of Tlaib being dragged away, commented, “She’s like a crazed lunatic. She’s screaming just before she got into Congress. Who elected her?” he asked.

“She’s screaming like a total lunatic at one of our rallies.”

This isn’t an anomaly any longer.
