MSNBC co-host Mika Brzezinski went too far on her television platform on Friday — and even her own husband and co-host, Joe Scarborough, wound up scolding her for her incessant anti-Trump line of conversation.

The discussion centered around Brzezinski’s skewed interpretation of something President Donald Trump said during his larger comments about vaping and children’s health.

She even suggested, in this discussion, that maybe Barron Trump wasn’t the president’s son.

In comments to the media, the president earlier in the week referenced his youngest son, Barron, while discussing the dangers young people are facing with vaping given the many enticing e-cigarette products currently on the market.

The administration said this week it would try to ban non-tobacco flavors of e-cigarettes amid the rise of teen vaping — especially amid a recent series of deaths and lung illness spikes connected to it.

“We can’t have our youth be so affected,” Trump told reporters on Wednesday.

“People are dying with vaping, so we’re looking at it very closely,” he said.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is putting together “final guidance to implement the ban,” as The Hill noted, “but Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said it will take several weeks to develop.”

In this context, Trump was referencing how much first lady Melania Trump cares about children’s health and is worried about the issue. She, of course, is the mother of the couple’s son, Barron, who is now 13.

“She’s got a son — together — that is a beautiful young man,” said Trump as he described Melania’s concerns as a mother.

Well, this was all too much for the anti-Trumpers, including Brzezinski — who wildly leaped on Trump’s wording.

After she repeatedly suggested Trump meant young Barron wasn’t his son, Scarborough told her to “just stop.”

“We’ll let the tape play itself, OK?” he said to her and the audience, referring to the video clip of Trump referring to his wife’s “son.”

“Donald Trump, yesterday, I think [it] was yesterday at the White House, [was] talking about Melania’s son and mumbling the words together,” Scarborough said by way of explanation.

But Brzezinski at one point cut in and said, “Maybe it is Melania’s son … well, that’s what he was saying. He was saying it was just her son. That’s not — that’s just what he said.”

She also even suggested that maybe Trump forgot his own young son’s name.
