A man threw an open half-gallon of milk at several Bronx police officers — narrowly missing one cop but splattering him with the liquid, as The New York Post reported on Thursday afternoon.

It was all caught on video, too.

This is the latest open act of defiance and violence against a uniformed member of the force, according to cops and a video that surfaced on Thursday.

“They got milked on!” a bystander can be heard shouting nearby, as The Post also noted.

A cellphone video captured the entire incident.

It was then posted on Instagram with a caption that read “F*** the [police emoji].”

This assault comes just weeks after the city’s now-viral water bucket attacks on members of the New York City police department.

Mayor Bill de Blasio, however, somehow believes these acts against police are being adequately addressed.

In the past, he has said that anyone caught committing such acts against police will be prosecuted.

The mayor — still a 2020 Dem candidate for the nomination, even though he failed to qualify for the Democratic debate next week in Houston — told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson in part on Thursday night on “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” “The big picture is, we are the safest big city in America. It is proven statistically time and time again. We have 500,000 new jobs since I became mayor — the largest number of jobs in our history right now, the strongest economy we’ve ever had.”

The context of that part of the exclusive conversation was about the increasing instances of public urination in the city and other such issues in a dirty Big Apple.

Yet De Blasio went on to say, “We’ve got problems, unquestionably. But there’s also a lot of areas where this city is doing very, very well.”

He also said, “Yesterday [Wednesday] we had a press conference where we laid out the crimes statistics for this year and crime continues to go down year after year. It’s an extraordinary effort by the NYPD, using policies and strategies that I’ve instituted in my administration as part of what’s working.”

He did not mention, however, that earlier this week, cops in the city voted “no confidence” in the mayor — and that they feel demonized, disrespected and far worse.

On Friday morning, The Post further reported that NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill said there should be “consequences” for people who disrespect police officers, including the man who doused the Bronx cop with milk.

“I don’t know if this is news to New Yorkers — disrespecting cops,” O’Neill said on WFAN’s “Boomer and Gio” show. “This isn’t something that just started happening in 2019. We’ve been dealing with this for a long time and I’m glad it’s come to the surface.”

“There has to be consequences for disrespecting police officers. There’s law involved,” he added.
