A new poll just out of Democratic voters in New Hampshire has socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) leading the field of 2020 candidates on the Left in this first-to-vote primary state.

Sanders has the support of 29 percent of likely Democratic primary voters in the Granite State, according to a Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald Poll released Wednesday and as noted by Fox News.

Former Vice President Joe Biden, who has been the frontrunner in most national and early-state polls, stands at 21 percent in this poll.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) registered at 17 percent in the poll.

Bernie Sanders is 78 years old.

This is his second try at a presidential candidacy.

“Former Vice President Joe Biden’s lead has evaporated in New Hampshire, with U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders pulling ahead in what has clearly become a three-person Democratic primary race, a new Franklin Pierce University-Boston Herald poll reveals,” as BostonHerald.com reported.

This latest poll, Fox News emphasized, “puts Sen. Kamala Harris of California at 6 percent support, South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg and tech entrepreneur Andrew Yang both at 5 percent, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii at 3 percent, and former Rep. Beto O’Rourke of Texas at 2 percent. Every other candidate mentioned in the survey registered at 1 percent or less.”
