A group of young people in New York City recently participated in a disturbing ritual in which they confessed their “climate-change sins” to a bunch of houseplants.
Yes, this story is true.
How many times have I said that the “climate change” movement today is a cult? Probably too many to count.
But this story goes a long way in proving that point, as I see it.
People who confess their “sins” to houseplants are the exact same folks who would wear matching tracksuits and join cults, in my view.
This disturbing “plant prayer” ritual went down at the Union Theological Seminary in Manhattan.
The supposedly “Christian” group not only confessed their sins to the group of plants — but also shared “regret, joy, hope, and sorrow” with the potted plants.
By the way, Christians don’t pray to houseplants.
Honestly, those poor potted houseplants were probably sitting there cringing the whole time this disturbing ritual was taking place!
As The College Fix reported, students at a seminary in New York City recently confessed their sins to plants during a chapel service. It was “an experience that drew nationwide ridicule but that a campus spokesman defended as a ‘beautiful, moving ritual'” in a statement to that outlet.
This past Tuesday, Union Theological Seminary in Manhattan shared on Twitter a photo of students speaking to an arrangement of houseplants.
“Today in chapel, we confessed to plants. Together, we held our grief, joy, regret, hope, guilt and sorrow in prayer; offering them to the beings who sustain us but whose gift we too often fail to honor. What do you confess to the plants in your life?” the tweet read.

The increased frenzy and hysteria surrounding climate change is due in part to people like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), who are scaring kids and laying out a phony, junk-science burden on their tiny shoulders.
These poor young people actually believe if they don’t fix things, the Earth will cease to exist in 12 or so years.
This is the type of irresponsible, incorrect information that adults like AOC (and our entire mainstream media) are pumping into kids’ brains.
Think about it: These poor children are so terrified, that they’re now praying to houseplants.
