Franklin Graham has a message for all of us.

“Ask God how He wants to use you today,” he wrote on his Facebook page a few days ago.

It might not be the first waking thought people have — but it’s a great one to consider making part of our earliest hours.

How can each of us reach out to others?

How can we do one pure and good thing for someone else — and ask nothing in return for it?

How can we come to the aid of a needy and worthy individual, group or cause?

And how can we use our precious, personal and finite resources to “do good” in the world — even in our own little corner of it?

As the son of Billy Graham wrote on his page to his followers, “Last week a 4th grade boy was laughed at and bullied for wearing a homemade University of Tennessee, Knoxville, shirt for his elementary school’s college colors day.”

“His teacher took the story to social media and it went viral.”

“Since then, his entire classroom received a care package from UT.”

“The university put his original T-shirt design up for sale on their website and over 50,000 shirts were purchased with all the proceeds going to Stomp Out Bullying.”

“And now UT has offered this young man a four-year scholarship from the university — isn’t that incredible?”

“Way to go, UT!”

“I’m grateful for all those who made this happen,” continued Rev. Graham.

“In small ways, we can all be a part of bringing more happy endings in other people’s lives.”

“Ask God how He wants to use you today.”

Thats such a perfect message.

The “smallest” things we do for others may wind up bringing the biggest changes those people have ever experienced in their lives.
