The clip shows a joyous moment — and shares peace, happiness and pleasure in a too-angry country and even world right now.

This pair of two-year-olds in Washington Heights, New York (in northern Manhattan) simply couldn’t contain their sheer delight at seeing each other again.

“It was just a lucky moment,” said Michael D. Cisneros, the dad of little Maxwell — who is 26 months old and black — to CBS News.

His little pal Finnegan is 27 months old.

Cisneros said he was lucky to get the unplanned moment between the children on his cellphone.

He posted it on social media. “With all the racism and hate going on, I just think it’s a really beautiful video … The reason it’s getting attention is … because it’s with a little black boy and a little white boy — but if it can change someone’s mind, or just change their views on things, then it’s totally worth it.”

Cisneros explained it was “definitely not staged.”

The little friends have known each other for over a year now. The boys’ families met in a restaurant and formed a fast friendship.

“It’s great to spread the love and to show people that kind of love and beauty in the world,” said Cisneros.
