Trump Responds After Learning Elijah Cummings’ Baltimore Home Was Burglarized: ‘Really Bad News!’

Hillary kept gov't data on a home computer; Comey had notes at home, too. What info did Cummings keep?

Remember that crime problem in Baltimore that President Donald Trump was speaking about over the past week-and-a-half?

Remember how Trump called out Rep. Elijah Cummings for his inability to make his district better over the 30 years he’s been in office?

Well, according to CBS Baltimore, “Baltimore Police are investigating after the home of Rep. Elijah Cummings was broken into [last] Saturday morning. The burglary occurred around 3:40 a.m. at his Baltimore home in the 2000 block of Madison Avenue.”

If you are keeping score, this happened before Trump called out the problems of Cummings’ district.

How’s that for premonition?

Cummings is the House Oversight and Government Reform chairman — but he can’t seem to provide oversight at home.

This burglary wasn’t made public until Thursday (yesterday). Trump responded to it on Friday morning.

Failed presidential candidate and former secretary of State Hillary Clinton kept her government stuff on her home computer.

Former FBI director James Comey kept his notes on government stuff at his home.

I wonder what sensitive government stuff Cummings kept at his house?

Priceless.

The Dems will spin this to make it look like Trump was responsible. They might even go so far as to contrive a “collusion” theory.

Dr. Ben Carson, Housing and Urban Development secretary and a Baltimore native, traveled to that city a couple of days ago and asked to meet with Cummings in the neighborhood — but the congressman refused.

Carson said he wanted to discuss how to solve problems plaguing local communities.

“I have a special place in my heart for Baltimore and for the people of Baltimore,” said Carson. “There are a lot of excellent, wonderful people here. And there are a lot of good places here in Baltimore as well, but there are problems and we can’t sweep them under the rug.”

“You know, it’s sort of like if you have a patient who has cancer and you can dress them up and put a nice suit on them and you can try to ignore it — but that cancer is going to have a devastating effect,” he said in an interview. “You have to be willing to address that issue if you are ever going to solve it.”

If only Cummings were more interested in helping his constituents — rather than trying to impeach the president on made-up crimes.

It’s beyond comprehension. But once he cries “racist,” the fear center of many liberals’ brains takes over — and reality fades away.
