This Individual Is Resorting to Desperate Name-Calling Against the President

Anyone find it curious a mayor tries to connect Trump with terrible things — but rushes to greet him on the tarmac when he visits?

Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley, a Democrat, has hit the national scene in the wake of the tragedies in her city last weekend.

And she is using her 15 minutes in the limelight, it seems, to defame President Donald Trump and show her constituents and the rest of the country that she is not one to sit down with or share a cup of coffee with, in my opinion.

Does anyone else find it curious that Whaley can call out Trump and associate him with terrible things — yet run out to the tarmac to greet him when he arrived in Dayton, Ohio, on Wednesday?

Would you run out to meet someone whom you claimed was spreading division?

On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “AC360,” Whaley reacted to statements Trump made about her and Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) by stating that the president, among other things, “is a coward.

Here’s what Whaley said, in part: “I’ve known and watched President Trump’s Twitter feed for a while … It’s fine that he wants to bully me and Sen. Brown. We’re OK. We can take it.”

“But the citizens of Dayton deserve action.”

“And we’re just hoping that this isn’t just a typical politician that’s all talk and no action.”

“We want to see, and the citizens of Dayton want to see, him do something around some common-sense gun legislation.”

Whaley, in a passive-aggressive way, also told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that Trump “did have a good rapport with the victims, we said that, and the first responders were grateful.”

That had to be thrown in there so that if she’s ever called out for her ridiculous slam against Trump, she can say, “Well, I did say something good about him.”

They are following the playbook.

The more the public knows about the Dem playbook, with its methods and reasoning, the more Dem voters will leave to cast their ballots for Trump. In this case, as with El Paso, the truth will set the elections free.
