Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) is again coming under fire.

It isn’t enough that a married man — a political consultant — declared his love for her earlier this year, as evidenced in a recent divorce court filing by his wife (who is the mother of a child that the pair share together).

It isn’t enough that Omar has issued anti-Semitic and anti-American statements ever since her election last year in the 2018 midterms — and then refused to apologize for them.

Now, Omar has been hit with a formal complaint.

The conservative National Legal and Policy Center filed a complaint against her with the Federal Election Commission (FEC). The Wednesday complaint alleges that the young lawmaker and Democratic squad member used campaign funds to reimburse — illegally — her purported romantic partner for personal travel expenses.

The complaint, as Fox News noted, also charges that Omar failed to itemize travel reimbursements, which is required by the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971.

It also says the travel expenses apparently increased during the very same month that Omar’s alleged affair with Tim Mynett, 38, a D.C. political consultant with the E Street Group “heated up.”

The complaint was filed just a day after it was revealed that Beth Mynett, 55, a physician, submitted divorce papers in Washington, D.C., Superior Court. She claimed her husband suddenly informed her in April of this year that he was having an affair with Omar and was effectively ending the marriage.

Omar has denied having an affair with Mynett.

Her attorneys also dismissed the FEC complaint as a  “political ploy” with no basis.

“Responding to the complaint, David Mitrani, counsel to Ilhan for Congress and the E Street Group, said in a statement that ‘any accusation made that our clients acted to skirt the law in any way is absolutely false, and completely unfounded,'” Fox News reported.

When asked on Tuesday by WCCO (CBS Minnesota) if she was separated from her own husband and if she was dating anyone, Omar replied: “No, I am not. As I said yesterday, I have no interest in really allowing the conversation about my personal life to continue and so I have no desire to discuss it.”

Mynett’s organization received approximately $230,000 for fundraising consulting, digital communications, Internet advertising and travel expenses since 2018, records showed.

The New York Post first reported on the story of Omar’s alleged affair earlier this week, as LifeZette noted.

The Mynetts lived together for six years before they were married in 2012.

They have a 13-year-old son together, also according to the court filing.

Tim Mynett has previously worked for Omar’s congressional campaign.

His E Street group received approximately $230,000 for fundraising consulting, digital communications, internet advertising and travel expenses since 2018, records showed.
