It’s a no-go.

Reporters hoping to glean some insights into the alleged romantic affair that a married man claimed he’s been having with Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) are out of luck, as of right now.

But questions about this issue are now being put to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) as well.

Omar, the controversial Somali-born lawmaker, on Tuesday denied that any such romantic affair exists. Yet it was reported in a divorce filing.

The allegations were revealed early this week in a filing from the man’s estranged wife, Beth Mynett, a physician. She alleged that her husband, Tim Mynett, a Democratic political consultant, said he was ending the couple’s marriage because of his romantic involvement with Omar — for whom he has done consulting work.

The Mynetts have a child together.

The story emerged a month or so after reports revealed Omar had separated from Ahmed Hirsi, her husband and the father of her three children.

When Omar was asked by WCCO (CBS Minnesota) if she was separated from her husband and if she was dating anyone, the lawmaker gave a terse reply — and said she would not be entertaining further questions about her “personal life.”

“No, I am not,” Omar declared on Tuesday. “I have no interest in really allowing the conversation about my personal life to continue and so I have no desire to discuss it.”

“The parties physically separated on or about April 7, 2019, when Defendant told Plaintiff that he was romantically involved with and in love with another woman, Ilhan Omar, who serves as a U.S. representative from Minnesota,” read the court filing, which Fox News obtained.

The New York Post first reported on the story earlier this week, as LifeZette noted.

The Mynetts lived together for six years before they were married in 2012. They have a 13-year-old son together, according to the court filing.

Tim Mynett has previously worked for Omar’s congressional campaign; his organization received approximately $230,000 for fundraising consulting, digital communications, Internet advertising and travel expenses since 2018, records showed.

The 37-year-old congresswoman has been spotted out in public with Mynett; there are photos of the two together.

“Defendant’s more recent travel and long work hours now appear to be more related to his affair with Rep. Omar than with his actual work commitments,” the court filing read.

Omar’s office did not respond to Fox News’ request for comment, the outlet noted.

The Daily Mail in early August carried this headline on one of its pieces: “Exclusive: Is Ilhan Omar having an affair with this Dem strategist? The man she was holding hands with at an exclusive eatery is Tim Mynett, who has constantly been by her side, left his physician wife and was paid $250K by her campaign.”

Notably, Omar has been accused in the past of marrying her own brother.

Last month, reports circulated that Omar had left her husband, Ahmed Hirsi, and moved into a penthouse apartment in a trendy Minneapolis neighborhood.

That separation came as questions have swirled about Omar’s controversial marriages — a subject that’s garnered national attention and even commentary by President Donald Trump.
