She’s out.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) announced late Wednesday afternoon that she is quitting the 2020 presidential race — after struggling with fundraising and polls with stricter requirements to qualify for upcoming debates, as Fox News noted in an alert.

Gillibrand did not qualify for the third round of debates by the Democratic National Committee’s deadline, The Week reported.

Those debates will take place in Houston in late September.

“Gillibrand, whose campaign largely focused on women and families, participated in the first two rounds of Democratic debates, but struggled to gain momentum as the qualifications ramped up,” as The Week noted.

The longshot candidate from the start — a progressive, far-Left Democrat from New York — now joins other fellow Democrats who have quit the race in recent weeks, including former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper.

Rep. Eric Swalwell of California, Rep. Seth Moulton of Massachusetts, and Gov. Jay Inlee of Washington State also dropped out recently.

“She should never have been in the race from the first place,” a New York-based veteran and father of four told LifeZette. “A lot of people seem to be wasting time on this. They should be doing the job they were elected or hired to do in the first place.”
