Academy Award-winning actor Jon Voight posted a Twitter video a few days ago in which he described Donald Trump as “the greatest president of this century.”

Voight is one of the few actors in Hollywood who has no fear of expressing his support for the president — making him a favorite of conservatives who see little representation of their views in the industry.

The “Runaway Train” actor began by slamming liberals for the pure hatred directed at Trump for over three years now.

“This is not peace,” he explained at the start of the video. “This is not love. This is hate among the radical Left. No amount of ‘book smart’ will show the given policy of what truth stands for.”

“This is war among the Left,” he continued. “They have hate. It’s like a venom. No words of God, no words of love, but a radical emotion of hate.”

Voight noted that because of their unbridled hatred, those on the Left fails to see the simple fact that Trump “is the greatest president of this century.”

“Let us pray for this country that President Trump will take on four more years of his strength, devotion, knowledge of truths,” Voight continued. “And all that doubt and have extreme anger toward President Trump, may they be shown differently, that President Trump is the greatest president of this century.”

Who do you think would win the Presidency?

“Let us take a stand for liberty and justice for all. God bless,” he concluded.

It’s difficult to ascertain whether or not Voight meant he was the greatest “of this century” as he stated, meaning Trump would only need to beat out Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama — not exactly a formidable group.

Perhaps he meant “in a century. “Voight has previously referred to President Trump as “the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln.”

Voight was one of the earliest actors to come out and support Trump in his bid for the White House. He endorsed Trump very early on in his campaign, saying, “He will not let us down” and noting that a vote for him will “save our nation.”

The Hollywood elites weren’t overly fond of Voight for what he did earlier.

In his video release of a “Plea to Save America,” Voight prayed, “May God protect the real truth, and may Donald Trump win this presidency.”

It seemed the Hollywood elites weren’t overly fond of him for saying so.

In December 2016, just one month after Trump’s stunning defeat of Hillary Clinton, the actor was on the receiving end of some vociferous jeering when he appeared at the Critics’ Choice Awards.

Trump won and America was saved from the clutches of the corrupt Clinton family, in our view.
