Failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is soon publishing another book — one with her daughter, Chelsea, which they say is meant to “promote” women who have inspired them over the years.

The bottom line about this move by Hillary Clinton, said political commentator Tammy Bruce on the Fox News program “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Tuesday evening, seems more about pushing daughter Chelsea Clinton into the public eye than anything else.

“They [the Clintons] expect Chelsea to take on” the mantle of liberalism and progressive values, added Bruce about this development.

From “their perch of progressive privilege,” they’ll be pushing out their new book — and suggesting to other women in America what they should believe. The book is slated for release in October.

The two women said in a statement that they created the project because they were asked so often over the years to name the women they found heroic, as Fox News noted.

Among the “gutsy women” mentioned in the book are Harriet Tubman and Ellen Degeneres.

“To us, they are all gutsy women — leaders with the courage to stand up to the status quo, ask hard questions, and get the job done,” Chelsea Clinton said in a statement released on Tuesday.

“So in the moments when the long haul seems awfully long, we hope you will draw strength from these stories. We do. Because if history shows one thing, it’s that the world needs gutsy women.”

The book’s fall release means that Hillary Clinton will remain in the spotlight as the 2020 presidential race heats up.

She’s been vocal about President Donald Trump and appears to have taken every opportunity to state her displeasure with Trump and his policies. (Many Trump voters remember with bitterness and dismay her dismissal of them in her comment about “a basket of deplorables.”)

Mrs. Clinton said the book grew out of her habit of collecting articles about women who “seemed to be redefining what was possible.”

“Growing up, I knew hardly any women who worked outside the home. So I looked to my mother, my teachers, and the pages of Life magazine for inspiration,” Hillary Clinton said in a statement, adding that she developed her habit of keeping articles “after learning that Amelia Earhart kept a scrapbook with newspaper articles about successful women in male-dominated jobs.”

The book reportedly will include portraits of more than 100 women.

Chelsea Clinton, 39, is married and has three children.
