Hmm. It’s all very curious.
The conservative group Turning Point USA fired an audio-visual aide who apparently was responsible for projecting a “parody presidential seal” behind President Donald Trump for a short period of time when he appeared before the group earlier this week.
The image featured a Russia symbol and golf clubs.
The organization of young conservatives told CNN on Thursday that an aide had been dismissed over the incident and that it was apparently all a mistake.
“A source with the group also told CNN, though, that they [the unnamed source] think it was not intentional but that the person simply did a Google search for the real presidential seal,” The Week reported, “and ‘with the pressure of the event, didn’t notice that it is a doctored seal.’ The source also apologized and said, ‘We’re sorry for the mix-up and meant no disrespect to the White House or the president or the advance team.'”

However, the “fake” presidential seal showing a two-headed eagle — which bore a similarity to the state seal of the Russian Federation — was visible only for a short time behind Trump.
The commander-in-chief stood behind a podium affixed with the official — and un-doctored — presidential seal for most of his speech.
A White House spokesman told The Hill on Thursday that officials had not seen the phony seal before it was projected on a screen.
That spokesman referred any further questions on the issue to TPUSA.
Here is The Hill’s tweet on the matter, showing the image as well:

“Somewhere there was a breakdown. I think it was as simple as a rushed move [in] throwing up an image, and it was the wrong one,” a TPUSA spokesman told The Washington Post.
“It was an A/V mistake … It certainly wasn’t our intention.”
The president of the United States should never be embarrassed by such an incident.
Clearly more controls were and are needed to prevent any such situation from occurring again.
